Stop Hiring the Wrong Candidates!

Do you really know a person’s capabilities from a resume?  Does an interview reveal the real story?  Often, managers hire mismatched candidates hoping they can mold the candidate into a role.   Or, they have hired professionals who have had years of experience in their field, yet failed miserably?  How could that be if they have been doing the job for years?

There is a popular expression that says some people have the same experience year after year.    Meaning they never grow or develop.  They have the same level of expertise that they had when they started the job 20 years ago.

Best to identify candidates that have an aptitude for learning and who continually set goals and strive to improve.  Many assessments can discern this learning capability.

Assessments provide objectivity that can highly increase the likelihood of quality hires.

Consider assessments that measure:

• Desire to learn
• Job specific behaviors and competencies
• Team interaction style
• Cultural fit
• Integrity, reliability, and ethics
